Maestro’s Vision: Transforming Hospitality with AI, Mobile and Enhanced Revenue Streams, Here’s All You Need to Know

Maestro PMS, one of the preeminent vendors of holistic hospitality management systems, announced its ‘2026 Software & Innovation Roadmap,’ which defines the company’s vision and future plans to transform the hotel industry. Hosted with the vision of enhancing operation excellence and delivering intelligence in automation, revenue, and operation, the company plans to improve experiences for both customers and hotel staff through its new invention and innovation. Through its approach of using artificial intelligence, developed mobile solutions, and enhanced digital commerce, Maestro is all set to improve the operational efficiency of hotels.

Emphasizing Innovation for Intelligent Growth

At the heart of Maestro’s 2026 roadmap is a strong emphasis on integrating intelligent automation throughout its platform. The company’s focus is on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline hotel operations, personalize guest experiences, and provide deeper insights for smarter decision-making at every level of hotel management. Lisa Jane Wheaton, Senior Product Strategist at Maestro, highlighted the importance of AI-driven capabilities in achieving these goals.

“Maestro will continue to embed AI-driven capabilities across the platform to improve operational efficiency, enable deeper personalization, and support smarter decision-making,” Wheaton explained. The integration of AI will enable hotels to run more efficiently while offering tailored experiences that cater to the specific needs of guests, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.

Revolutionizing Training and Onboarding: AI-Powered Learning Platform

In addition to operational enhancements, Maestro is introducing next-generation solutions to support hotel staff. Maestro Online Education (MOE), which previously offered traditional training, is evolving into an AI-powered learning platform. This platform aims to better engage hotel teams, accelerate employee onboarding, and empower staff with role-specific knowledge when and where they need it.

With the rapid growth of digital transformation in hospitality, offering modern training solutions is essential for staff development. The AI-enhanced MOE platform will not only make training more accessible but also ensure that employees are equipped with the skills they need to excel in their roles, improving overall service quality and operational efficiency.

Expanding Mobile Functionality: A More Convenient Experience for Guests

Maestro’s 2026 roadmap also highlights the increasing importance of mobile technology in improving the guest experience. Expanding mobile functionality will include features like mobile check-in, where guests can select their room numbers from their smartphones, and built-in upselling opportunities. These innovations will provide guests with a smoother, more personalized experience, increasing convenience and satisfaction.

For hotel operators, the mobile functionality will drive incremental revenue by offering guests additional services and upgrades, such as room upgrades, early check-ins, or late check-outs. This approach not only enhances the guest experience but also supports hotel revenue generation with minimal additional effort.

Unlocking New Revenue Streams with Intelligent Yielding and Digital Commerce

As part of Maestro’s 2026 vision, the company is focused on optimizing non-room revenue streams, which are becoming increasingly important for the financial health of modern hotels. Maestro will introduce intelligent yielding tools that allow hotels to dynamically adjust ancillary charges based on real-time demand, maximizing revenue from services like parking, spa treatments, and restaurant dining.

“Hotels will gain the ability to dynamically optimize ancillary charges, ensuring non-room revenue categories are priced strategically based on demand,” Wheaton explained. This tool will enable hotels to improve their pricing strategies, ensuring they capitalize on peak periods and manage their inventory more effectively.

In addition to yielding, Maestro will improve the online gift card shopping experience, allowing for better conversion rates and increased sales. Enhancements to ResWave, Maestro’s online booking engine, will also include expanded spa packages and portable inventory and equipment management to optimize wellness operations, making it easier for hotels to manage their spa facilities and enhance their offerings.

Streamlining Multi-Property Management: Operational Excellence

For hotel chains and multi-property operators, Maestro’s 2026 roadmap will introduce new enhancements to streamline multi-property management. These improvements will include cross-property rate type copying, smarter group inventory sell limits, and enhanced room status controls, which will provide hotels with greater precision in inventory management.

Wheaton further explained that enhanced group workflows, including email BEO (Banquet Event Order) and contract functionality with integrated pre-payment, would reduce manual effort and speed up the booking lifecycle, making operations more efficient and improving guest satisfaction.

Enhancing Payment Solutions: Apple Pay and Google Pay Integration

To further modernize the guest payment experience, Maestro will integrate Apple Pay and Google Pay into its payment platform, MezzoPay. This integration will enable faster, more seamless transactions, both in-person and online, across Maestro Mobile and ResWave, providing guests with a frictionless payment experience while enhancing security.

The move to incorporate these widely used mobile payment solutions reflects the growing demand for contactless and secure payment methods, allowing guests to complete transactions quickly and conveniently while reducing administrative overhead for hotel staff.

Maestro’s Long-Term Technology Vision: Cloud-Based and Secure Solutions

Looking beyond 2026, Maestro is committed to investing in a long-term technology vision built on robust cloud infrastructure, browser-based functionality, and the highest standards of data security. The future development of Maestro’s platform will continue to be driven by feedback from clients, market insights, and the evolving needs of the hospitality industry.

Maestro’s dedication to client satisfaction and staying ahead of industry changes is evident in its roadmap. By continuously adapting to the practical realities of hotel operations, Maestro ensures that its solutions are future-ready and aligned with the growing demands of the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Maestro’s Commitment to Future-Ready Hospitality Solutions

Maestro’s 2026 Software & Innovation Roadmap outlines an exciting vision for the future of hospitality management. By embracing AI, enhancing mobile functionality, and unlocking new revenue streams, Maestro is empowering hotels to improve operational efficiency, offer better guest experiences, and drive growth. The company’s focus on operational excellence, staff training, and modern payment solutions demonstrates a deep understanding of the evolving needs of the hospitality industry.
