Barcelona Joins Miami and Europe in Welcoming Regent Seven Seas’ Largest and Most Luxurious Ship – The Seven Seas Prestige

In a significant step for the ultra-luxury cruise market, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has confirmed an agreement with Fincantieri to build a fourth vessel in its highly anticipated Prestige-Class series. Scheduled for delivery in 2036, this new ship follows the upcoming launch of the Seven Seas Prestige in December 2026. This newest addition strengthens Regent’s ongoing commitment to offering the most luxurious cruising experiences in the world. The agreement also aligns with the brand’s long-term strategy to maintain its dominance in the luxury cruise sector.

The ship, which will be built at Fincantieri’s shipyards in Italy, will join its siblings, the Seven Seas Prestige, which is slated for a debut in December 2026, and two more ships scheduled to launch in 2030 and 2033. This continuous expansion highlights Regent’s focus on providing passengers with an unmatched level of luxury on the seas.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, expressed great enthusiasm about the project, stating that the fourth ship is a testament to their commitment to maintaining their leadership in the ultra-luxury cruise market. He remarked, “The fourth Prestige-Class ship is a vital investment that positions us for continued success as we lead the market in ultra-luxury cruising for the decade ahead.”

Seven Seas Prestige: Setting New Standards in Luxury

Set to debut in December 2026, the Seven Seas Prestige will represent the next step in Regent’s luxury cruise evolution. This first vessel in the Prestige-Class series will be approximately 40% larger than previous Regent ships, yet it will host only 10% more guests. This design ensures that each guest experiences a spacious, exclusive atmosphere throughout their voyage.

At the heart of the ship’s appeal is its all-suite configuration. Each suite will have its own private balcony, providing guests with unmatched ocean views. The Skyview Regent Suite, the largest all-inclusive suite in cruise history, will offer guests the epitome of luxury.

In addition to the suites, guests will have access to 11 distinct dining experiences on board, including the highly anticipated Mediterranean concept, Azure. This innovative dining experience will provide an array of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, offering guests a taste of authentic regional cuisine while traveling to iconic European destinations.

The ship will also offer a range of activities, from unlimited shore excursions to immersive onboard entertainment. With up to 97 shore excursions available per voyage, travelers can explore both the Caribbean and Europe, all while enjoying gourmet dining and fine wines included as part of the all-inclusive experience.

A Journey Across the Mediterranean and Caribbean

The inaugural season of the Seven Seas Prestige will feature a collection of 13 voyages, including its 14-night transatlantic journey from Barcelona to Miami starting on 13 December 2026. The first sailing marks the start of an exciting season of exploration, offering guests a mix of both luxurious indulgence and cultural discovery. The cruises will feature diverse destinations in the Caribbean and Europe, with guests able to immerse themselves in local culture and history.

Barcelona, the starting point of the inaugural voyage, is a bustling cultural hub in Spain. It is renowned for its beautiful architecture, especially the works of Antoni Gaudí, and serves as a perfect gateway for those embarking on a luxurious journey across the seas. As a popular tourist destination, Barcelona offers a mix of modern amenities and centuries-old history, making it a perfect destination for cruise passengers.

Upon arrival in Miami, passengers will have access to the vibrant energy of the city, with its bustling arts scene, beautiful beaches, and luxury shopping experiences. Miami will serve as a perfect counterpoint to the cultural richness of Barcelona, offering a unique blend of relaxation and entertainment.

Commitment to Luxury and Sustainable Travel

As Regent Seven Seas Cruises continues to expand its fleet, the brand emphasizes its commitment to both luxury and sustainability. The new ships will be equipped with cutting-edge technology designed to minimize their environmental impact. In addition to the luxurious experiences that Regent is known for, guests can be assured that their travel choices are in line with the growing demand for sustainable tourism.

In building these magnificent vessels, Regent is not only enhancing its fleet but is also shaping the future of luxury travel. The addition of Four Prestige-Class Ships over the next decade will continue to build on Regent’s reputation for providing travelers with the best in ultra-luxury cruising. With the introduction of Seven Seas Prestige and its successors, Regent is poised to set new standards in the industry, further solidifying its position as a leader in luxury cruises.

As the cruise industry recovers and expands, the Prestige-Class ships will attract an ever-growing clientele seeking the finest experiences at sea. The new ship’s debut in 2036 will only add to the already growing anticipation surrounding Seven Seas Prestige, with guests looking forward to stepping aboard one of the most luxurious cruise ships to ever sail the oceans.

What’s Next for Ultra-Luxury Cruising?

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ commitment to expanding its fleet highlights the growing demand for ultra-luxury travel experiences. With the fourth Prestige-Class ship scheduled for delivery in 2036, the cruise industry continues to innovate to meet the expectations of the world’s most discerning travelers. Regent’s continued investment in luxury will ensure that it remains a top choice for travelers seeking sophistication, exclusivity, and unforgettable experiences on the high seas.

With Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ new ships, travelers will have access to unparalleled experiences that mix luxury, adventure, and sustainability, ensuring that future voyages will continue to set the benchmark for what is possible in ultra-luxury cruising.
