Preferred Hotels & Resorts Expands Global Portfolio With New Properties In Global Destinations From Italy To Texas And Bali To China

Preferred Hotels & Resorts achieved international growth when it added twenty-one new hotel properties to its portfolio between October 1 and December 31 of 2025. The company established this expansion plan because it wants to meet the increasing demand for luxurious boutique hotels that customers prefer to stay at in popular travel destinations which extend from Southern Italy to Texas wine country and Bali and China. The company will gain operational improvements through new expansions which will make its Preferred Hotels and Resorts services more attractive to customers.

Expanding Global Presence: A Diverse Collection of Destinations

Among the newly added properties, there are standout destinations that cater to diverse tastes and interests. From the heritage-rich retreat in southern Italy to the luxurious resorts nestled within Texas Hill Country, the new hotels promise to attract an array of global travellers seeking exceptional experiences.

One of the highlights of this expansion is the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is part of the L.V.X Collection. The hotel, located on Copenhagen’s scenic waterfront, occupies a historic 18th-century warehouse previously used by the Danish navy. With 366 rooms and suites, the hotel offers guests Mediterranean cuisine with Nordic influences at the Aye Aye Restaurant. Guests can also enjoy unique experiences such as electric boat cruises through the city’s canals, making the hotel an appealing option for tourists exploring Copenhagen’s vibrant cultural scene.

Similarly, Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas brings an exciting addition to the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection. Situated on the shores of Lake Lyndon B. Johnson in Texas Hill Country, this sprawling 7,000-acre resort offers 423 rooms and suites, as well as the recently unveiled Signature Residences. The resort boasts three championship golf courses, a lakeside spa, and a wide range of family-friendly activities, from pickleball and tennis to off-roading and boating. It’s a destination designed for those seeking adventure and relaxation in the heart of Texas wine country.

Unique Offerings for Global Travellers

As Preferred Hotels & Resorts continues to enhance its portfolio, the variety of offerings in new locations ensures that it can cater to travellers from across the world. For example, Masseria San Domenico in Savelletri di Fasano, Italy, offers an extraordinary heritage experience. This 15th-century retreat, once a watchtower built by the Knights of Malta, is now home to 40 rooms and suites. Surrounded by ancient olive groves, it offers luxurious amenities including a thalassotherapy spa, a seawater pool, and two private beaches. Its inclusion in the Legend Collection signifies the hotel’s status as a destination for sophisticated travellers.

For those seeking a more secluded and wellness-focused experience, Samsara Ubud in Bali is a unique addition to the L.V.X Collection. Amid Bali’s verdant jungles and terraced rice fields, this boutique resort offers 17 private villas, each with a heated infinity pool and open-air living spaces. The resort provides guests with holistic wellness experiences, Indonesian cuisine, and cultural activities such as sunrise nature walks and temple visits, making it a true escape into Bali’s natural beauty.

The newly added Treasure Bay Fuxian Lake in Yuxi, China, also offers a picturesque retreat, with 464 guestrooms and suites nestled between Fuxian Lake and Maotian Mountain. Known for its temperate climate year-round, the resort provides guests with an opportunity to enjoy the serenity of the lake region while exploring the surrounding landscapes.

A Strategic Boost to Operations and Market Growth

These new additions align with Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ strategy to increase its presence in key global markets. According to their official statement, this expansion strengthens the company’s appeal to affluent travellers who are seeking unique and tailored experiences. By diversifying its portfolio to include properties in diverse locations, from Europe to Asia and North America, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is poised to tap into a broader audience and expand its market share.

The group’s ability to offer exclusive and high-quality properties in sought-after destinations allows it to compete with other luxury hotel chains and further establish its brand as a leader in the boutique and luxury hospitality sectors. This expansion also highlights the group’s focus on catering to evolving traveller demands, particularly for wellness-focused retreats, family-friendly resorts, and heritage properties.

Many of the new properties also participate in I Prefer Hotel Rewards, an incentive programme that offers members bonus points for eligible stays. This initiative not only encourages loyalty but also drives bookings, contributing to the growth of the company’s global operations.
